Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Parish Support Information – Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Under the present circumstances and with the restrictions recently imposed by the Government, it is vitally important that as a community we all stick together and support each other.

Highnam Parish Council are working with other organisations in the parish to help those residents who are in high risk groups or are self-isolating.  A liaison group has been set up with representatives from the COVID-19 Help Group, Neighbourhood Watch, Highnam Church, Highnam Community First Responders and the Parish Council.  If you are self-isolating and need any sort of help during this crisis your first point of contact should be your local COVID Help Group volunteer who will have put a flyer through your letterbox with their phone number or Audrey on 07894 322250 who will arrange for a local volunteer to contact and help you . Click on this link for: COVID Support Group contact list

If you cannot contact the volunteer or Audrey please contact Mike Welch Parish Council Chairman – mike.welch1943@yahoo.co.uk or your Neighbour Watch street co-ordinator and they will pass on your request to the relevant group.

Please observe the Government’s advice to stay at home and stop the spread of the virus – Keep Safe.
