Parish Support Information – Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Under the current circumstances with the increase in cases due to the Indian variant, it is vitally important that as a community we all continue to stick together and support each other.
Evidence suggests that this variant may be more transmissible than previous variants, so we need to do everything we can to control the spread and prevent a serious outbreak in our community.
We can all help to achieve this by encouraging everyone to:
- Remember hands, face, space and fresh air – meet outdoors wherever possible
- Get vaccinated if they are eligible
- Get a PCR test and isolate straightaway if they have any symptoms that they are concerned could be Covid.
As restrictions are eased, it is natural that residents will be planning to enjoy the new freedoms. Whilst we are not advising people not to do this, we do want them to be aware of the latest data and take extra care.
